The Spicy Taste of Dundubu Jjigae !

Sundubu Jjigae ( 순두부찌개 ) or spicy soft tofu stew is one of traditional Korean food that found at first when Joseon Dynasty period .It is usually served during winter in Korea. Sundubu Jjigae’s main ingredients are tofu, egg, dried anchovies, beef stock  and kimchi . And for the sauce we need cooking oil, garlic, ginger, bombay onion, chili oil and korean red chili powder (  gochugaru)


To make Sundubu jjigae, firstly you must make the sauce. Put the cooking oil, chili oil, chili powder, garlic and bombay onion into frying pan then stir it. Second, put tofu, dried anchovies,kimchi and beef stock on to claypot. Third, put the sauce into claypot and stir it. Afterthat, add the claypot into oven and grilled it until 250°C. After 20 minutes , you can put the claypot and then for last touch, break the egg and put the chives . Finally you can enjoy the spicy taste from Sundubu Jjigae !! ^^
